Welcome to the new season!!
We would like to take this opportunity to welcome those of you that are new to the organization, and welcome back those that have been a part of the league over the years. The concession stand is a vital part of our baseball season. It helps to pay for expenses such as umpires and equipment. In order for the stand to run efficiently, the stand needs 6 people each week night and 5 people for Saturdays!
Important Information:
1. In order for you to redeem your stand deposit you must work in the concession stand. This includes all families with children participating in Shetland, Pinto and Bronco levels for girls and boys. No one is exempt from this rule even head coaches.
2. Workers are to arrive at 5:00 p.m. To start food preparation. The stand will open at 5:30 and will close between 9:00 & 9:30 p.m. (time will depend on the last game). Saturday games - Please arrive at 8:30 a.m. to prepare for the 9:00 ballgames.
3. It is your responsibility if you are unable to work your scheduled date, to find a replacement or call Tammy Francisco (815-634-4255) so that you can reschedule a future date. If we do not hear from you by one half hour before your scheduled start time, you will forfeit your concession fee.
4. Bad Weather & Rainouts: Regardless of weather, it will be your responsibility to check in at the concession stand the night that you are supposed to work to see if games have been cancelled. If we know ahead of time that games are cancelled, we will try and contact you. If you do not check in the night that you are to work, you will forfeit your concession fee.
5. Last, we are unable to allow you to bring your children into the stand with you. There is too much activity that goes on and safety is our #1 concern because of the hot equipment that is in use.
